Calendar

July 2003: Invitation to participate

·  Project announcement and invitation

·  Executive summary of project details

·  Census microdata inventory and participation status

·  African census documentation catalogued in United Division Statistics Division Historical Archive
2003 - 2004: Sign agreements, assemble documentation

·  Second step: Sign agreements, Assemble documentation

·  Memorandum of understanding to be signed with each participating National Statistical Institute

·  Reply form for details about likely documentation and microdata available to the project
December 2005: revise grant proposal for review by consortium
February 2005: submit grant proposal for funding
January 2006: project begins
January 2006-December 2010: integrate anonymized census microdata samples for 3 to 5 countries per year--as 2000-round census microdata become available
