A rather rural area

The Twin Cities have pretensions to be a major sophisticated, cosmopolitan, metropolitan area, but really, these were some of the headlines on the website of the area's major paper this morning.

hahahahaha

The Twin Cities are great but a little provincial; and there surely is a great deal of parkland, and it is rather spread out metropolitan area, diffuse for its population.

I had heard that New Zealand, not having predators except humans, has a a problem with deer (like rabbits in Australia I guess?). I have heard this several times; dunno if it's a myth or not. Is it true?
